Dermal Fillers in Graham, Washington: The Complete Guide to Versa, RHA & Restylane
If you have been thinking about dermal fillers — whether for fuller lips, lifted cheeks, a stronger jawline, or just a more rested version of yourself — you have probably also been overwhelmed by the sheer number of products on the market. At Magnolia & Steel MediSpa in Graham, Washington, we deliberately keep our filler menu focused on three families we trust above the rest: Versa®, the RHA® Collection, and the Restylane® Collection.
This guide is the same conversation we have in consultation, written out in full. We will cover what dermal fillers actually are, why we have curated these three brands for our Pierce County patients, which products we reach for in each area of the face, what treatment day looks like, pricing, longevity, downtime, and the questions we hear most often.

What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made of hyaluronic acid (HA) — placed beneath the skin to restore volume, contour features, soften lines, and rebalance facial proportions. HA is a sugar molecule your body naturally produces. It binds water, which is why it gives such a hydrated, plump, lit-from-within look when injected by a trained provider.
Hyaluronic acid filler is also reversible. If you ever want to undo it, an enzyme called hyaluronidase can dissolve HA on demand. That safety profile is part of why we love this category for our patients.
Filler is not the same as a neuromodulator like Letybo or Daxxify. Neuromodulators relax overactive muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles. Filler restores or adds structure. Most great aesthetic plans use both, in a thoughtful, layered way.
Why Versa, RHA, and Restylane?
We could carry every HA filler on the market. We do not — by design. After years of injecting in Graham, WA, we have found that these three families together cover every facial zone with the technologies that, in our hands, deliver the most natural-looking, longest-lasting, and lowest-swelling results.
- Versa® — Made by Revanesse, Versa uses uniformly shaped spherical HA particles. The benefit you feel is less swelling, a smoother gel that integrates beautifully into tissue, and a soft, natural finish. It is wonderful for cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, and overall facial volumization.
- RHA® Collection — Stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid. RHA is engineered to stretch and recover with your dynamic expressions, which makes it a standout in animated areas like the lips, perioral lines, nasolabial folds, and jawline. The collection includes RHA 2, RHA 3, RHA 4, and RHA Redensity for fine lines.
- Restylane® Collection — The most extensive HA portfolio on the market, with a different product engineered for nearly every facial zone. Restylane Lyft and Contour for cheeks and midface, Defyne and Refyne for folds, Kysse for lips, Silk for fine lip lines, and Eyelight — the first FDA-approved HA filler for the under-eye area.
We do not currently use Juvederm. That is not a knock on the brand. It is a philosophy: these three families, together, give us every tool we need to design a beautifully natural result for every patient who walks into our Graham, WA spa.
The Best Filler for Every Area of the Face
Here is how our injectors typically map products to anatomy. Every face is different, so your consultation may take a different path — but this is the playbook we draw from.
Lips
For natural, kissable lip enhancement we most often reach for Restylane® Kysse, which uses XpresHAn cross-linking technology designed specifically for lip motion. It moves when you talk, smile, and kiss — and it tends to last 12 months or longer. RHA® 2 and RHA® 3 are also gorgeous lip choices, especially when patients want a little more volume and definition. Versa® shines when a patient wants a soft, low-swell, very natural lip refresh.
Cheeks and Midface
Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® Contour are time-tested workhorses for cheek projection and midface lift. RHA® 4 brings strong structural support that still moves naturally. Versa® can be layered for overall volumization. When a patient has more advanced volume loss, we may combine HA filler with Radiesse® biostimulator for both immediate lift and long-term collagen building.
Jawline and Chin
For jawline definition and chin projection we usually choose RHA® 4 or Restylane® Defyne / Contour. These products are firm enough to hold structure but flexible enough to look like bone, not balloon. A defined jawline is one of the highest-impact filler treatments we offer — especially as we age and the lower face begins to soften.
Nasolabial Folds and Marionette Lines
Restylane® Defyne and Refyne were designed specifically for dynamic lines. RHA® 3 is another excellent choice. Versa® is a beautiful option for patients with softer folds who want a smoother, more subtle correction.
Under Eyes (Tear Troughs)
The under-eye is one of the most advanced filler areas in the entire face. Restylane® Eyelight, the first FDA-approved HA filler specifically for the infraorbital hollow, is a meaningful step forward. Restylane-L is also widely used here. RHA Redensity can soften crepey lower-lid skin. For some patients, PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a safer or better-suited choice — and we will tell you so honestly.
Temples and Brows
Volume loss in the temples can hollow the upper face and pull the tail of the brow downward. Restylane® Lyft or RHA® 4 placed deep in the temple restores that supportive ledge and lifts the brow naturally.
Hands
Hands age in plain sight. Restylane® Lyft (and Radiesse) can restore lost volume on the back of the hands so veins and tendons look softer and the skin looks younger. It is one of the most underrated treatments in aesthetics.
What Treatment Day Looks Like
A typical dermal filler appointment at our Graham, WA spa runs 45 to 75 minutes.
1. Consultation and goal-setting — your injector reviews your medical history, listens to your goals, photographs your face, and analyzes your facial proportions.
2. Numbing — topical numbing cream for 15 to 20 minutes, plus the lidocaine pre-mixed into every product we use. Lip patients can request a dental block.
3. Injection — using fine needles or blunt cannulas depending on the area, your injector precisely places small amounts of filler exactly where they belong.
4. Mirror reveal — you sit up, look in the mirror, and we adjust if needed before you leave.
5. Aftercare — we send you home with written instructions and a direct line to text us if any questions come up.
Aftercare to Protect Your Results
- Sleep elevated on your back for two nights when possible.
- Avoid intense exercise, saunas, hot yoga, and steam rooms for 24 to 48 hours.
- No alcohol for 24 hours.
- Skip facials, microcurrent, ultrasound, and facial massage for at least two weeks.
- Use arnica or bromelain to reduce bruising.
- Gentle ice for short intervals if you swell.
- Stay hydrated and resist the urge to "judge" your result for the first two weeks while the product settles.
How Long Do Results Last?
Longevity depends on the product and the area. As a general guide:
- Lips: 6 to 12 months (longer with Kysse and RHA)
- Cheeks and midface: 12 to 18 months
- Jawline and chin: 12 to 18 months
- Nasolabial folds and marionette lines: 9 to 15 months
- Under eyes: 9 to 18 months
- Hands: 9 to 12 months
Areas that move more (lips, around the mouth) metabolize filler faster. Deeper, more structural placements tend to last longest.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is filler permanent?
No. HA fillers gradually metabolize and are reversible with hyaluronidase if you ever want to undo them.
Will I look "done" or overfilled?
Not when treatment is conservative and proportional. Our philosophy is that great filler is invisible — your friends should think you look rested or radiant, not "filled."
Can I combine filler with neurotoxin in the same visit?
Yes, all the time. A typical visit might include Daxxify or Letybo in the upper face plus filler in the cheeks or lips. Your injector will sequence and place everything appropriately.
What if I do not like my result?
The honest answer is — that almost never happens when expectations and anatomy are well discussed. But because we use HA, we can adjust or dissolve a result that is not what you want. That is the safety net every patient deserves.
Can men get filler?
Absolutely. Jawline, chin, and temple filler are some of our most popular treatments for men who want a sharper, more masculine profile without surgery.
